Flight Interiors manufacture and maintain the soft trim in every Air New Zealand aircraft. Aviation regulations require every component to be tracked from the day it was made to the day it's replaced, and to know exactly when that day will be. We built the software that lets them.
THE CHALLENGE
Aviation has the strictest traceability requirements of any manufacturing sector. Every component on an aircraft has to be tracked from commissioning to end-of-life, and knowing exactly when end-of-life is happens has to be precise. For Flight Interiors, that means thousands of individual components across every aircraft in the Air NZ fleet, each with its own age, history, QA notes, and compliance status.
