While the adoption of AI is both accelerating and inevitable, it is a timely reminder that businesses need to have an understanding of AI and it’s impact. Further, businesses should have policies in place for the use of AI and educate staff on the safe use of AI, just as they would with anything relating to cyber-security.
AI can be a powerful force multiplier for businesses, but like most aspects of business it also has it’s risks. Not all AI is equal, either in performance or security, so it’s important to understand which information AI has access to or which information is being given to it, and whether that is intended and appropriate.
